Tips On Using Timelines In Your Facebook Profile

Written by admin on October 30, 2011

Facebook is changing again, and it may be something you want to use. The latest change is a timeline that you can install on your own Facebook page so that other people can see your life, or segments of your life, with the click of a button.
Don’t advertise every single moment of your life on the Facebook timeline. One, there is not enough room to upload hundreds of pictures. Two, you don’t want everyone seeing every detail of what you have done since you were born. The easiest way to set up your timeline is by choosing pictures form the most important parts of your life. Choose pictures from when you were a baby and then while you were young, on up to the age you are now. Ideas for pictures include graduation pictures, awards ceremonies, and weddings. You can add more of the fun pictures, but remember that everyone will see these unless you set your privacy settings to friends only.
The privacy tab on your Facebook page needs to be set to friends only, unless you want everyone on the internet to see your photos. This is more of a safety concern if you have children in the pictures.
