Make Your Facebook Profile Pop With Photo Banners
First we had Myspace, and now we have Facebook. Although I do enjoy Facebook a lot better than Myspace, one thing Myspace had that Facebook doesn’t is color! I loved all the different backgrounds I could choose from. Facebook lacks color all together, but it makes up for it in other ways. There is a lot more interaction with Facebook than on Myspace, but both social networks follow the same theme pretty much. For example:
Myspace allowed you to write on your friends pages
Facebook allows you to write on your friends walls
Myspace allowed you to comment on your friends statuses
Facebook does too
Myspace had status updates
Facebook does too of course
So now that we see that they have the same theme, let’s see how you can add some color to your life on Facebook. Facebook banners are rectangular and can be seen at the very top of your page. I think cupid has been off the job lately, because all the banners I have seen are about love, or the lack of love. Cheer up young Facebook users! You have your whole life for love. If you insist though, at least make it colorful and meaningful. The Facebook banner I have seen most is the one with the words single and taken written in a box with a check mark in the single box indicating that the person is single. The other popular one is the one with the green cat eyes. If you want your banner to stand out, don’t choose either of those two. Pick a banner that describes your individuality, has meaning to it, and lots of color! We know you’re single, so don’t keep reminding us. Instead, tell us how being single has changed your perspective on relationships. If he cheated for instance, I think the banner that says, ” Miss how we use to be” would be perfect!
